What is the Well?

-Orientation/Membership Class where you’ll get to know yourself, other people like you, h2o, and God in a way that you may have not thought was possible

-Give you a feel for what our church is about and what it looks like to be a member of our church

-Take a look inside of you and see how God has wired you and how that fits into God’s “big picture”

-Expose you to people who have similar goals that you do and are going through the same things that
you are.

At h2o, we desire to call people to a radical minimum standard.  In order to best do that, we created the Well.  As mentioned above, the Well is designed to be a lot of different things.  But we hope that it will give you a taste of what it feels like to be a member of our church – living out a radical minimum standard.

At h2o, we don’t have a formal membership process, but we definitely have members.  Members in our church are those who are living out a radical minimum standard of what it means to be a Christ follower.

In summary, we created the Well to expose you to this radical minimum standard.  To do this, for 7 weeks we ask you to:

  1. Be mentored

“Having a mentor was really scary for me to think about at first, but it was absolutely great! I didn’t feel obligated to meet, I actually wanted to meet each week”

“I felt that my mentor was a true blessing to me.  I couldn’t have asked God for someone better.”

“My mentor and I got so close so quickly... we got along great and had amazing conversations.”

“My mentor was AWESOME! We are extremely alike and I learned many important spiritually related things.”

“It is a great opportunity to develop an awesome friendship with another Christian. A friendship that challenges you spiritually and makes you question if what you’re doing in life is what God calls you to be doing.”

“I really made an awesome friend.”

“We could talk about whatever we wanted.”

“I feel like I’ve learned how to dive deep into someone else’s life.”

  2. Attend the seven 2-hour sessions
